First serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine in November 2014, A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! is a comedic fantasy manga created and illustrated by Mai Tanaka. As of December 2023, the series has amassed a dedicated following and continues publication with sixteen compiled volumes (tankōbon). Furthermore, an anime adaptation was announced in December 2023, slated for release in 2024.

The story centers around Haruaki Abe, a timid teacher ill-equipped to handle even regular students. However, fate throws him a curveball when he becomes employed at a most unusual institution – a school specifically for ghouls and monsters! The story follows Haruaki’sHilarious and harrowing ordeals as he attempts to maintain order amongst his mischievous and otherworldly pupils.
